En allmektig Gud

Kjære Far!
Jeg innrømmer at du virkelig er allmektig i livet mitt. Jeg erkjenner at beslutninger jeg har gjort i livet, ikke er mektigere enn din kjærlighet til meg. Jeg overgir meg helt til deg - mine tidligere valg, mine nåværende omstendigheter, mitt fremtidige liv. Jeg ønsker bare å leve ut den kjærlighetshistorien du har skrevet for meg og deg. Fra nå av vil jeg ikke rose meg selv ved å tro at det er jeg som skriver den. Jeg vil ganske enkelt vende meg til deg hver dag for å få ledelse, og stole på at den blir styrt av din kjærlighet. Du er sjef-helt og fullt. Takk for at du har fått meg til å forstå det.

Min venn

Skrev denne sangen til min niese Alise sin barnevelsignelse. Når jeg skulle synge den var jeg litt nervøs for man gir jo litt av seg selv når man synger egne komponerte sanger, men det gikk bra. Veldig gla jeg valgte å synge den! :)

What is love?

I have many times thought about what love really is. Is love a feeling that make ourselves feel good? Or ss it something we are born with. What are the character of love?. The word "love" is a verb. Something we actively do. We love a person, or we love that show etc. 
What does the word of God says about love. The whole bible is a lovestory about God's love for us. He sent Jesus his only son to die for us. If that is not love, I don't know what love is!. 
What are the character of love. For us to find out that, we have dig into the bible. More specific we have to go to 
1 Chorinthians 13:1-13:

"If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."

Social Sunday

What day it has been!. Today I have been leading worship in my Church. What great church to be in! The theme of the meeting was "inclusive"and we had something called Social Sunday. After the meeting we all was invited to dinner with different families. I had a great time with the "Vrabel familiy". Great dinner and great people to be with. After that "Fillsong" we went to Flekkefjord and was leading worship there at the pentacostal churh. What a priviledge to lead people in worship!

The next to weeks will be filled with studying to my 2 exams. Wish me luck!

Something to think about

It is absolutely clear that God has called you to a free life. Just make sure that you don't use this freedom as an excuse to do whatever you want to do and destroy your freedom. Rather, use your freedom to serve one another in love; that's how freedom grows - Gal 5.13 (MSG)
